These altered books were created from old damaged books that were scheduled for disposal. No usable books were destroyed to create these works of art. These books had water damaged pages, broken spines, etc and have been recycled and kept out of the landfill.

This lovely creation is 9 ½” long X 6 1/2” wide X 1 5/8” deep. The center hand carved cavity is 6” X 4” X 1/2” deep. The main background color is a stark black with 23 k gold leaf and copper and metal leaf accents.
